The artist’s task is to save the soul of mankind; and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns. Because of the artists, who are self-selected, for being able to journey into the Other, if the artists cannot find the way, then the way cannot be found.
~Terence McKenna

THE age of specialization is over and we must now embrace our curiosity in many fields of interest.

On Painting…
My painting practice, which has now spanned over three decades, and the work that emerges from my experimentations, comes from somewhere that only abstract can truly explain.

I'm still learning what makes abstract a great genre for someone like me - emotional in temperament and driven by unseen things like love, fear, and passion; all the things that keep us alive, on the inside! I love to work fast and on the edge, relying solely on my intuition for colour and texture to work on original pieces that are unpredictable and unrepeatable.

My impulse to work comes from somewhere that only abstract can explain. The ineffable.

Abstract art is the genre that gives the most agency to the mind of the viewer. I love that everyone sees something different and unique.

Colour is the language of Emotion. The line is the language of Intent.

Inspired by beauty, the science of the small and the multitudinous interactions that form the basis of all life.
Future history can be written only in the present.
