My progress so far on this blustery friday…

I AM WARM! Hallelujah!!!!

Thank goodness for this blast of heat! I know lots of people are struggling out there, especially on the continent, but for us here in the damp South West UK, it is so welcome; like thawing out after a cold and clammy walk in the fog, the tumultuous British spring has finally given way to another chaotic summer!

Like a dancer, my limbs suddenly want to work again, the bones dry out and the creaking gives way to inspired movement.

I think I must crave the desert; it always appears in my work!

This piece of work ‘Desert Dancers’ is waiting for its next layer of decoration, but I quite like the simplicity of this stopping place.

Perhaps if you find yourself taking on too much today just stop.
